Congratulations to Michael and Gillian Bucceri, and Stephen Mandel on their 4th Annual Take a Swing at MS Golf Outing. On June 12th at Crystal Springs Resort in Hamburg, NJ the event raised more than $45,000 for our stem cell research. Thank you to all of the event sponsors, supporters, and in-kind donors who powered through the 96- degree weather to support our Center!

Hundreds turned up to the Change the Odds Against MS event in Charlotte, NC on March 31st, 2017. Thank you to Keith and Karen Kaplan, along with their friends and family for putting together an amazing night of casino entertainment, jazz, food and a whole lot of fundraising for the Tisch MSRCNY. The event raised nearly $203,000!

Crawl for a Cause
When the Mirando family wanted to support Tisch MSRCNY, they knew where to turn. The Jeep community came together in support of the Mirando Family, and Tisch MRCNY. Anthony Mirando, along with 80 other “Jeepers” spent a beautiful day with guided tours around Rausch Creek Off and ended the night with raffles. Deneroff Makes Another Splash!
Patricia Deneroff is no stranger to diving into the deep end, whether it be in life or in the pool. She kicked off her 5th annual lapathon on Labor Day, swimming laps in her pool to raise money for Tisch MSRCNY. Despite the rainy day, Patricia was able to complete 50 laps, with her grandniece Jeena swimming 50 additional laps the following week. The family affair raised $15,000 at the event!

Once again, “Friends of Joey Renda” hosted Cards for a Cure Texas Hold ‘Em Poker Tournament in support of Tisch MSRCNY’s research. More than 100 people came out to the annual event to enjoy fabulous entertainment, share a delicious meal, and play a few hands of Texas hold ‘em. As always, Joey and his friends made Tisch MSRCNY the big winner for the night by raising over $27,000.

Over 50 players and 50+ guests packed the Flemington Elks Club in Flemington, NJ on Saturday, October 15th, 2016 for a fun filled night of food, drinks, raffles, and of course, poker! Three lucky players were awarded the tournament’s top prizes, but the real winner is the Tisch MS Research Center. Thank you Joey Renda for raising $27,000!

Ride to Conquer MS
Marielena Mullings has been spinning for over two years. “It’s my mental flossing. We floss our teeth, I floss my brain,” she said. Thankfully, she’s used her mental hygiene to benefit the Tisch MS Research Center. On March 30, 2019 Mullings hosted a “Ride to Conquer MS” at her local CycleBar studio in Fort Lee, NJ and raised $7,000 to support our research!
Show Me Your Mumu
Show Me Your Mumu
LA-based clothing company Show Me Your Mumu, teamed up with the Leni and Liza Ballinger to honor their mother who has MS, by creating a month-long fundraising campaign to support Tisch MSRCNY. Along with hosting an exercise event, Show Me Your Mumu raised over $7,000 to support our research. Thank you Show Me Your Mumu, Leni, Liza, and everyone who bought orange!

Patrick Grace used his many talents to benefit Tisch MSRCNY research, in honor of his cousin and MS patient, Kevin. Last summer, his Spartan Team ran trails, crawled through the mud, and completed 20 challenging obstacles. Patrick also donated a portion of the proceeds from his band's performance. Thank you, Patrick, for raising over $6,000!

The annual Timmer's Way Music Festival Benefit for Tisch MSRCNY on September 17th, 2016 was a huge fundraising success donating $30,000 to MS research. The event, named to honor Timmer Wood, included a raffle, silent auction, cornhole tourney and an evening of great music. Thanks to the Wood family for helping us reach our goal for a Future Without MS.

For years, Tammy and Neil Barry have opened their Raleigh, NC home for a night of music, fun and fundraising for MS. Inspired by our groundbreaking stem cell research, the Barry’s chose to donate all money raised to Tisch MSRCNY. Congratulations to all who attended on October 15th, 2016 and together raised $16,000 for stem cell research!

On September 10th, 2016 Susan Putman and family held their first #StandUpForStemCells fundraiser at their home in Bernardsville, New Jersey. The goal was to raise $100,000 for stem cell research at the Tisch MSRCNY. Thank you to the Putman’s who surpassed their goal and spread awareness to friends and family!

On June 11th, 2016, Tori Shapiro from Armonk, NY held a bake sale to raise money for Tisch MSRCNY. Tori has a family member with MS and as part of her Mitzvah project for her Bat Mitzvah, Tori and her friend Lucy Ross decided to raise money to help find a cure for multiple sclerosis. Inspired by Dr. Sadiq's work, they donated the total $1,074 profit they made in the bake sale to the Tisch MSRCNY.

On May 25th, 2016, Immaculate Conception High School in Lodi, NJ raised $2,600 for the Tisch MS Research Center. Emilia Strafford has been raising money for different MS organizations for the past ten years doing walks with two different schools. She coordinates all logistics and has brought awareness to the community.

In honor of MS Awareness Month, this past March, every Pride Cleaners (Kansas City, MO) matched all customer donations made at their stores. All proceeds went to the Tisch MS Research Center of New York. Thank you to Pride Cleaners for raising $25,200!

Dani & Julia Join Forces for MS
Dani Heller and Julia Weiss live in different communities, have different interests, but in March 2016 they worked together to do what they could to help the Tisch MSRCNY. The girls sold edible cookie dough from DO NYC, and developed all of their own marketing and sales strategies.They raised $750 that they sent to Dr. Sadiq to help him with his MS research.
